Runescape - The Knight

There are three combatant characters one can play in Runescape and one of them is the Knight. This type of combatant relies on heavy battle armor as well as an assortment of weapons. The strategy is simple, hit and hit harder. There are cetain skills one can develop to bring one's experience up and allow him to use a better set of armor and weapons.

The following metals are used in the free world - Bronze, Iron, Steel, Black, Mithril, Adamantium and Rune. As the battle experience goes up, the upper level armors and weapons also becomes available. One can start out with Bronze and Iron. I would recommended to continue training using these armor and weapons until such time that you can use either Mithril or Adamantium. That way, you'll save some gold pieces to spend for something else.

The best place to start training would be on the cows and chicken just south of Falador. If you are on Port Sarim, you're already way past this place. Fighting cows would allow you to bury bones to earn experience on Prayer and cooking the meat helps bring one's cooking level up. And the cowhides are also a great way to bring your crafting level up or you can sell these to those who are building their crafting levels up. the chicken provides meat and feathers. The feathers are used for making arrows as well as fly fishing.

Another great place to train would be further south near Port Sarim near the beach. You can fight the goblins here and bury their bones. If you get lucky, you'd get good drops from the goblins you kill. You can also fish at the beach for food and bring your fishing level up as well as wood cutting. Just make sure you bring a match, axe, and a small net when you're in this area.

Once you gain more experience on your attack or defense, try to explore the surrounding areas to see what's available. The game is about adventure so be an adventurer.
