Love One Another As I Have Loved You..
'Love one another as I have Loved you...', so says the Lord. When you hear or read these words, they seem so easy. But are they? When you start pondering on them, the word love is very complex. Much more when you factor the fact that love comes from God and when God says love one another, you are not just selecting someone you already care for. You are also suppose to love those you don't know and people that have at one time hurt or offended you. Can you really love someone when you know that doing so does not sit well with you?
In 1 John 4:8, it stated that "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." It makes a lot of sense but not on our frail human level. God's love is unconditional. We as human beings are capable of understanding only things that are tangible to us. We say we love but we don't really understand the true meaning. But the nice thing is that we have the ability to learn. It is one of the greatest gift that we ever had and it's called free will. The ability to choose.
The passage in 1 Corinthians 13 is a must read. When in doubt, I always come back and read through this passage and somehow it gets me a feeling of being lifted. I may not truly understand what love really is nor would I know what God's plan is for my life but I do know that it is okay to question Him. Ask Him why things are happening in my life and when I can't still comprehend, I go back and ask Him to help me trust Him.
If He is piloting my life, who am I to argue?

nice to read again your blogs... i became an avid follower... it is even nicer to note that you recognize GOD as the ultimate source of everything. Yes, when in doubt, you go back to HIS word. reading the bible, meditating is really a good help.
